Spain, a country close to Tunisia geographically as well as culturally, belongs also to the European Union with which Tunisia has signed a partnership agreement. The Spanish language, thus, takes on a strategic importance for the XXI century. Spanish is also a tool for the exploration of historical heritage, common for the two countries. In addition to Spain, its original country, Spanish is mostly spoken in Latin America.

Objectives :

  • The studies dispensed aim at assuring to the student a deep specialized training focusing on the language, literature and civilization linked to the Spanish reality on both levels: contemporary and classical.
  • This B.A degree aims also at assuring to the student the perfection of Arabic, French and English, as well as a specialized training of Spanish applied to economics, commerce, tourism and diplomacy, allowing acces to the tertiary sector, in addition to teaching and research.

The B.A degree of Spanish is regulated by the Ministerial order issued on 30 May, 1994 (Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic, N°52, 5 July 1994).
