Cooperation Agreement (GDSTR/NCSR)

In the framework of the convention between the MHE (General Direction for Scientific and Technological Research) and the National Centre for Scientific Research (France), research programs are carried out jointly since 1976.

Two types of action are possible:

- Exchanges for an average duration of 3 years. This action has to deal with relatively limited means (missions in Tunisia, training periods in France), destined to encourage the establishment of durable scientific relations between tunisian and french teams.

- International Programs for Scientific Cooperation (IPSC). This action has an average duration of 3 years and is granted with more substantial means. The IPSC is a logical advancement of the exchange actions initiated till now in the framework of the agreements GDSTR/NCSR. It is set up from a preexisting collaboration and aims at federating many tunisian and french teams, working on the same set of themes, intra or interdisciplinary, defined from a common point.

Cooperation Agreement (GDSTR / NIHMR)

In order to encourage and support the medical research, the MHE has signed, in 1989, with the National Institute for Health and Medical Research (France), a cooperation agreement in the field of medical research. This agreement consists in realizing, by a two-year-period, research programs with exchange of teachers-researchers and training-researchers. The duration of each agreed project is one or two times renewable biennum. For each biennum, an assessment of the project is necessary in the end of the first year, so as to receive the green light for the second year.

Tunisian-Marrocan Permanent Joint Committee (TMPJC) for Scientific and Technological Research

The Tunisian-Marrocan Cultural Committee, in its meeting dating back to 25-27 of September 1996, had made recommendations in order to boost the bilateral cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific and technological research. The TMPJC, in charge of the implementation of these recommendations, has met twice to prepare the modes and the starting off of the cooperation in the sector of scientific and technological research. The starting off of this cooperation has seen the emerging, following an invitation to tender, of research projects foreseeing the exchange of teachers-researchers and researchers. The duration of each project is two years. However, it's possible to obtain a third year after presenting a justified demand and after an assessment of the advancement of the concerned project
