Scholarships

Tunisian-American partnership in the field of higher education has known this year a new impulse.
The objective of this initiative is to bring additional support for upgrading policy and modernization of Tunisian economy, by training in technology, management and finance.
These means will be implemented in both following programs :

1- Academic and professional trainings (Humphrey Fellowship Program Scholarships) :

American State Department puts at Tunisia's disposal scholarships for training in USA.
These scholarships foresee professional and academic training programs allowing beneficiaries to make a sound contribution to upgrading their origin institutions.
This scholarship is directed to high technology and finances disciplines, and all the fields directly connected to Tunisian economy upgrading.

Conditions of scholarship granting :

Candidate should have:

- University degree (at least  Bachelor "maîtrise")

- Professional experience of at least five years

- Responsibility in an institution

- Good linguistic competence in English (Language trainings are possible)

2- Joint research projects :

Within the Tunisian-American partnership project, United States gave to Tunisia credits for financing three joint inter-university research projects.
These projects should be related to technology, finances, and all the fields connected to the promotion of Tunisian economy.
Tunisian universities are called to conceive and to elaborate with their American partners projects of exchange over three years

Deadlines for requests for the next start of the academic year will be announced later and as soon as reception of American scholarships offer .
