2- International Cooperation strategy in the fields of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The recent years represent an essential stage distinguished by the introduction of partnership in the strategy of international cooperation.  The former is considered as one of the quality indicators in Higher Education and a reliable means for the evaluation of our University institution’s integration in their internal and external environment. This partnership has been achieved through concluding cooperation agreements, setting up activities’ programmes for scientific and academic cooperation with our traditional partners in the Maghreb, Euromed and European spaces. It has also been realized through the determination to develop this cooperation with our partners from American and Asian continents’ countries.

3- Students Exchange

Since the independence, the exchange of students has been given special attention. It has facilitated the training of Tunisian brilliant students in prestigious foreign universities.

At the same time, based on agreements with the friendly and brotherly countries, Tunisia worked for the establishment of cooperation through the means of conventions and executive programmes to define the needed quotas and specialities. Tunisia has also provided, within the framework of financial assistance, a number of scholarships and admissions for African students.

Tunisia doubled its efforts in order to enhance quality indicators in supervision, higher education and research with the aim to raise the Tunisian higher education and research institutions to the level of their renowned international counterparts.
